Well I have just about had it for the far right wing government that someone else has elected. I honestly don't remember the last time that our congress has attacked issues other than impeachment with this much zeal. This is what is happening now with steriods and baseball and the
Terri Schiavo case in Florida. We can't seem to get them to get a national healthcare program, eliminating welfare, for those who live off of it, and restructuring the IRS so the corporation and wealthy get taxed the most.
Why should the government get involved with a steriod problem in baseball? We all understand that it is a dangerous drug. We know what happens to you. Yet they are a few people amatuer and professional that use steriods. Jose Canseco(asshole) who promotes his book because he is broke and can no longer play in MLB needs to point fingers at those alledgedly used steriods? He says he shot up with (actually putting the needle in himself and others) and watched others do it to each other. C'mon man you know the rules. It doesn't go out of the locker room. You played many 162 game seasons. You know that's more than most people can take. Travelling, playing , the flying. Why Jose, why?
I really don't care if anyone did or not. I am still a fan of MLB. More so than NFL or NHL. I won't even get started about the idiots of the NBA. That league deserves to disappear altogether or maybe congress should step in also because of all the immoral players in that league. The drugs, the groupies, the gambling, the betting, the fireams used to shoot at people, the fighting with their own fans. I know it's happened in baseball(the fighting with fans) some of the fans deserve it. I heckle too. Some players are assholes. See above.
So the far right wing agenda is slowly creeping into the laws of life in our country. The case in Florida is a good reason to get things in writing first. Terri Schiavo has been brain damaged from a chemical imbalance many years ago. Now hopefully in the nuptuals were exchanged on her wedding day I believe there is something about caring for someone in sickness and in health. I know it's a gray area but in my case I know I would like to be given a chance for about 2 weeks and that's it. Pull the plug. I'm done. But see I have a clear mind and can say that. She told her husband years ago(allededly) She would prefer to die. Her parents say otherwise. Now the fighting is getting nasty. Her parents say he wants her to die so he can marry the girlfriend he has kids with. Now this could be easy and try to get a divorce from his wife. Shouldn't be to hard. No objections from her side. Either way he can get his out. This is stupid. They are tying up courts with this senselees battle for control. Now it seems that our(your?) government wants total control of who lives or dies. I think the Bush boys really need to look at what's best for everyone not just the right wing agenda. But that won't happen until the idiots are out of office.
